8-Day Red Sea Dive Safari Program – Marsa Alam, Daedalus & Zabargad
Embark on an unforgettable 8‑day liveaboard dive safari in the southern Red Sea. This carefully designed itinerary combines world‑famous dive sites like Daedalus, Rocky Island, and Zabargad with hidden gems such as Sataya Dolphin Reef and Wadi El Gemal. Perfect for divers seeking adventure, big pelagics, vibrant coral reefs, and a touch of relaxation.
Day 1 – Arrival and Check‑In
Guests arrive in Marsa Alam and settle aboard the boat. After a warm welcome, a general briefing will cover safety, dive planning, and the exciting journey ahead. Dinner on board and overnight stay at port.
Day 2 – Shaab Marsa Alam & Shaab Sharm
Your diving adventure begins at Shaab Marsa Alam, a beautiful reef teeming with hard corals and reef fish. The next dive takes you to Shaab Sharm, famous for its drop‑offs, tunnels, and impressive reef walls where pelagic encounters are common.
Day 3 – Daedalus Reef (3 Dives)
Sail overnight to the legendary offshore reef of Daedalus, one of the most famous dive sites in Egypt. Enjoy three dives among steep walls, pristine coral gardens, and the chance to spot hammerhead sharks, manta rays, and giant trevallies.
Day 4 – Daedalus Reef (3 Dives)
Another full day dedicated to Daedalus. Explore different sections of the reef’s vast underwater system. The sheer walls and strong currents make it a hotspot for schools of tuna, barracuda, and grey reef sharks.
Day 5 – Rocky Island & Zabargad (3 Dives + Night Dive)
Dive at Rocky Island, known for dramatic walls and pelagic sightings. Continue to Zabargad Island, a mix of pristine reefs and fascinating wrecks. After two exploration dives, enjoy a magical night dive around Zabargad’s coral garden.
Day 6 – Sataya Dolphin Reef (3 Dives + Night Dive)
Sataya, also called Dolphin House, offers the rare opportunity to snorkel or dive with spinner dolphins in crystal‑clear waters. Spend the day with three exhilarating dives and relax before a night dive under the stars.
Day 7 – Wadi El Gemal & Marsa Alam
The final underwater adventure takes place in the National Park of Wadi El Gemal, combining stunning reefs and abundant marine life. Return to Marsa Alam in the afternoon for a relaxed evening aboard.
Day 8 – Breakfast & Check‑Out
After a farewell breakfast, disembark and transfer back to Marsa Alam or Hurghada airport with unforgettable memories of your Red Sea liveaboard safari.

Daedalus Reef (Abu Kizan) – Egypt’s Offshore Red Sea Gem
Daedalus Reef, also known locally as Abu Kizan, is a legendary diving destination situated in the heart of the Egyptian Red Sea. Positioned roughly 90 kilometers east of Marsa Alam, this remote, standalone reef stretches approximately 400 meters in length and 100 meters in width, making it one of the largest and most dramatic offshore features in the region.
Dolphins
Sataya Reef is located about 12 kilometers off the Hamata shoreline, in Egypt’s southern Red Sea region. The site is accessible only by boat, typically through day trips or liveaboard excursions departing from Marsa Alam or Hamata marina.
National Parks
Wadi El Gemal National Park (“Valley of the Camels”) is one of Egypt’s largest and most impressive protected areas, a place where desert meets the sea in unforgettable harmony. Located along the Red Sea coast just south of Marsa Alam, this national park covers an expansive area of 7,450 square kilometers—including 4,770 km² of stunning desert landscapes and 2,100 km² of pristine marine habitats.

Zabargad Island (جزيرة الزبرجد Geziret El Zabargad), also known as St. John’s Island, is an enchanting destination in Egypt’s southern Red Sea—celebrated for its dramatic geology, rich history, and world-class diving experiences.
